CIDEX OPA Solution
provides high level disinfection with a rapid 5-minute immersion time at a
minimum of 25ºC in an automatic endoscope reprocessor* or 12-minute
soak time at room temperature (20°C). This glutaraldehyde-free solution
features unsurpassed materials compatibility,
making it the ideal choice for use in both automated and manual instrument
reprocessing.
CIDEX PLUS 28 Day Solution, with an
excellent tuberculocidal and high level disinfection capabilities, has been
proven to destroy 100% of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in 20 minutes
at 25°C. It’s effective in the presence of 2% organic soil and –
because it’s noncorrosive to instruments – provides a fast, effective
option for the disinfection and sterilization of a wide range of materials.
CIDEX PLUS 28 Day Solution is a 3.4% alkaline glutaraldehyde solution for
up to a 28-day reuse life.
CIDEX Activated
Dialdehyde Solution, the industry standard since 1963, provides high level
disinfection in 45 minutes at 25°C. It’s noncorrosive to instruments
and is effective in the presence of 2% organic soil.
Also available from the maker of CIDEX Solutions is ENZOL
Enzymatic Detergent , a mild, pH, enzyme-based presoak/cleaner designed
to thoroughly clean instruments before they’re disinfected or sterilized.
The proteolytic enzyme action of ENZOL Enzymatic Detergent enhances the
cleaning process by penetrating and lifting off tough, dried-on, hard-to-reach
organic matter from endoscopes and general medical equipment.
