STERRAD CycleSure Biological Indicator offers self-contained results.

A significant advancement to the sterilization process, the CycleSure Biological Indicator is designed specifically for exclusive use with STERRAD Sterilization Systems. The self-contained design of the CycleSure Biological Indicator increases convenience by eliminating the manual process, associated with biological indicator strips. The built-in chemical indicator on the BI vial cap provides added assurance that the vial has been exposed to hydrogen peroxide. This added feature allows for instant differentiation between a processed test vial and unprocessed test vial. CycleSure BI provides evidence that proper sterilization conditions were achieved in the sterilizer by challenging the sterilization system with the most highly resistant organism, Geobacillus stearothermophilus. CycleSure BI is easy-to-read and interpret with a color-readout in 48 hours. The bacterial growth medium will remain purple if the spores have been killed. The appearance of a yellow color or turbidity in the medium indicates bacterial growth.
